I decided to place the light bass in the beginning of my piece to kind of ease into things. I found it brought ambiguity of what lies ahead, and was a subtle way to start the piece. The footsteps follow up and represent walking into my life and the sound of the door closing enters the next phase of my life. Next, the pumping bass was my attempt to depict the trials and tribulations of my life thus far. The significance of the whirring sound that enters is my inability or uncertainty of how to make out those experiences. The purpose of the following sounds was to show the confusion and sometimes absentmindness that has occurred because of these memories. It makes me wonder how thingsd would been different and just how certain events have changed my life for better or worse. Trapped in a monotonous routine of uncertainty the footsteps are an attempt to bring closure to the listener. Closure of what has happened and what lies ahead. The bass at the end is also an attempt to show how these memories linger and walk with me to this day. The sounds was also chosen to signal the unknowingness of events that lie ahead.
